Marine Charging Point at EMSA Workshop in Lisbon

Marine Charging Point Ltd (MCP) will be attending a 2-day workshop organized by the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) at their headquarters in Lisbon, Portugal, on November 28th-29th, 2023. The workshop will focus on alternative fuels and power solutions for shipping and ports.

This year, the workshop will cover topics like the potential of hydrogen for shipping, wind-assisted propulsion for ships, the finalization of EMSA’s guidelines on battery energy storage systems, and the start of new safety studies on ammonia use and biofuel bunkering.

MCP is actively working on projects that include EV charging and monitoring systems for ferries worldwide.
