Marine Charging Point heading to Advanced maritime Technology in Amsterdam
Marine Charging Point to Present at AMT 2026
Marine Charging Point (MCP) is proud to announce that our CEO, Oscar, will be presenting at the Advanced Maritime Technology conference in Amsterdam on 17 June 2026.
His presentation, entitled “From Grid to Quay: How Ports Actually Electrify” will shed light on the realities of port electrification and what is involved in making it happen.
With the shipping industry rapidly advancing towards decarbonization, there is no doubt that ports will play an important role in facilitating this process. But electrification is about more than putting charging facilities in place. There are several key issues that need to be considered.
Based on the experience of MCP in offering marine charging solutions, Oscar will present views on the issues of deploying shore power and charging stations and the lessons from past deployment projects.
The section will offer useful insights for port’s administrations, ship owners, infrastructure builders, and other players seeking to advance the cause of marine electrification.
We are excited to interact with industry experts at Amsterdam and participate in the discussions that will shape the future of sustainable maritime activities.
